Draugr Balled - WHEN THE FIRES FADE

Slow steps, soft light, moon across the sea.
For once I don't need tomorrow rushing after me.
I used to think that strength meant never looking down.
Now I know it's knowing when to put the armor down.
If the world keeps turning, let it turn at night.
We don't need forever, we just need this light.
No legends, no glory, no story to defend.
Just two voices in the dark waiting for the dawn again.
If the stars disappear, I will still be here.
